Lee & White collects your personal data (which is any personally identifiable information) such as application information and contact details for the purpose of recruiting and marketing, and other basic identification and contact details, such as name, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses, to maintain our accounts, for billing, for verifying your identity for security purposes and for answering your queries.Such information is typically collected through the available online forms on the website and/or via email.

Lee & White may also collect your personal data which you may provide during phone conversations and/or faxes. Where such is the case, Lee & White will inform you of the fact at that time.

FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS

You may purchase reports and articles produced by Lee & White. Payments for these documents are processed using PayPal. PayPal will require certain personal information for billing such as name, credit card details, and billing address from you in order to process your payment to us. We do not collect any credit card details. The personal information we receive through PayPal is merely to confirm the transaction. Please refer to PayPal’s privacy policy for more details.

No information about you received in relation to a financial transaction will be used in connection with 'direct marketing' unless you opt in to this when expressly asked for by us.

RECRUITMENT

You may submit your personal data and sensitive personal data to us via post and/or email as a spontaneous application or an application for a position advertised at Lee & White. Sensitive personal data are information as to your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious, philosophical or similar beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health, sexual life, commission of criminal offences and/or involvement in criminal proceedings.

Any personal data collected will only be processed by Lee & White unless we have obtained your specific consent to transfer your personal data to third parties, including but not limited to other offices of Lee & White, agents and partners which Lee & White deems suitable to serve the purpose of recruiting. We may also receive your personal data through recruiting agencies for the purposes of your recruitment. Please check the privacy policy of the recruiting agencies you are in touch with.

Your personal data and sensitive personal data which Lee & White obtains from a recruitment agency and/or you through your résumés or curriculum vitas will be kept by Lee & White in so far as is necessary to process and/or review your application for the current position.

Should there be no match with the current position applied for and/or should there be no current job opening in the case of a spontaneous application, Lee & White will keep your résumés or curriculum vitas for a reasonable period of six months in order to review this personal data and contact you for an updated résumé or curriculum vitae for a future position which Lee & White deems you a likely candidate, and at the same time to ensure the data we have is accurate and up-to-date. After the expiry of such period, we will delete your data from our database.

RESPONSE

Your e-mail address, name and other personal data which you divulge to Lee & White will be recorded when you send e-mail to Lee & White so that Lee & White is able to respond to you on your queries. This information will not be disclosed to any other organization except as required by law. Please use the designated email addresses which are relevant to your queries. Should there be a general query that does not fall within any of the categories of the designated email addresses, you may email Lee & White using this form. Nevertheless, Lee & White reserves the right to delete any personal data which Lee & White deems irrelevant for the purposes of responding to you on your specific query and this shall constitute sufficient notice of deletion to you.

The purpose of this deletion is in order for Lee & White to fulfil its obligation to collect only adequate and relevant personal data necessary for the purposes of answering your queries under the Belgian law of 8 December 1992 on Privacy Protection in relation to the Processing of Personal Data as modified by the law of 11 December 1998 implementing Directive 95/46/EC and the law of 26 February 2003.
